Five reasons to book a seaweed bath in winter

by | Nov 20, 2025

1) It’s all about the contrast

As soon as the lid of the barrel is lifted, steam rises into the cool, damp air. The air is cleansing and fresh, almost like a drink, but the 40C water is richly comforting and warm, allowing your muscles to truly relax.

2) Rain only adds to the experience.

If it rains, time and time again we hear from our guests that it adds to the experience, rather than takes away. A few raindrops in the eyelashes and mist on the horizon equals maximum Welsh romance.  Welcome the season of winter and bathe in whatever the weather brings.

3) Have a speciality coffee delivered to you barrel-side

Enjoy a warming Campfire Latte, brought to you directly by one of our team so you don’t even need to get out of the barrel.

4) Feed your dehydrated skin

When our expert team adds the seaweed to the warm water, it releases its naturally moisturising oils, brilliant for dehydrated skin.

5) Soak in the mountain view, often covered with snow

World-famous Eryri is a sight to behold when dusted in snow, a proper winter wonderland.

I had full on rain and took a woolly hat which I was glad of. The hot soak made me feel totally relaxed and restored. I could feel the softness of the water and oils on my skin.
