THE HALEN MÔN TEAM
We are a small yet strong team of twenty something people, a Jack Russell called Bella and a chocolate labradoodle called Jolene, who can normally be found trying to snaffle somebody’s sandwiches.
We have been a family business since the very beginning, and Alison and David’s three children all work for HM in different ways.
We think it is as important as it is reassuring to know that your food has been made by a real person. That is why we add the initials of each packer onto every single pouch and tube of sea salt we produce.
You can match the initials on your salt to the pictures on this page.

Salt Harvester and Packer
Jolene has more energy than anyone else in the office put together, and goes for a swim in the sea every day at lunch, whatever the weather.
Hamish, Jake and Jess
Though they all have other jobs too, Alison and David’s children all work in the business in a huge range of different ways – from design to financial planning to recipe writing. One thing which always brings the three together is a love of their mother’s good food.
Salt Harvester and Packer (KOG)
Champion of the ‘galaxy swirl’, Keith is a dab hand at harvesting our sea salt, is the fastest known rinser in the salt world, and cycles to work everyday, rain, shine or snow.

When he’s not trying to perfect his flat white, Ed can be found walking the costal paths of Anglesey or curing his hangovers in the Irish Sea..

Hope has found home from home on Ynys Môn, and lives for art and good food. On her days off you’ll find her on one of the many beautiful beaches in the area. Hope is learning Welsh, and her favourite Welsh word so far is Wiwer.
David is always on the go, designing a new saltcote, acquiring planning permission or sorting out new solar panels. Only kept in the office by threats from Alison.
Cerys studies art at college, and lives in the local village. Her favourite painting is Van Gogh’s ‘Starry Night’
