The more adventurous among us should try:
- Sprinkling atop peanut butter and honey on toast
- Whipping into softened butter with crushed garlic and lemon zest before spreading on halved ciabatta and baking in foil at 180C for 15 minutes for the best home made garlic bread
- Sprinkling over oiled asparagus spears before grilling until tender and serving with a fried egg and crusty bread for the quickest early summer supper
- Finishing shortbread dough with a pinch just before baking

It may sound odd, but I absolutely love the smoked sea salt. I tried it at one of the tours and bought a packet. Since that day I don’t use any other salt. I have it at home, a small jar at work and even a little box in my handbag for when I eat out. The smokey flavour makes everything just absolutely tasty. I wish it was sold more widely in shops near me. It’s just something I wouldn’t want to be without. Thanks Haken Mon.
