Salted caramel hot chocolate
INGREDIENTS
Makes 1 300ml jar
- 200ml/7fl oz milk or milk alternative
- 25g/1oz good-quality milk chocolate, grated (we like Pump Street sourdough and sea salt bar)
- 2 tsp Halen Môn Salted Caramel Sauce
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder
- Halen Môn Pure Salt in a finer flaked, to taste
- Sugar, to taste (optional)
A rich hot chocolate paired with the unbeatable flavour of our Salted Caramel.
METHOD
Heat the milk gently in a large saucepan until simmering, being careful not to let it catch on the base of the pan. Remove from the heat and stir in the chocolate until melted. Return to the hob and add the caramel sauce and cocoa. Taste and add a pinch of salt and sugar, if you like. Pour into a mug and enjoy.
