We have been exporting our products since 2001 when we joined forces with an American distributor. Today, Halen Môn  is enjoyed across the world, but nearly 17 years later, we still get excited when we see our salt overseas, whether it be in Australia, France or Hong Kong.

The Department for International Trade has helped us in all sorts of ways, from helping us with labelling laws abroad to helping initiate meetings with potential customers. Last week, the new Board of Trade Awards (BOFTA’s) were announced, recognizing companies that have shown exceptional performance in international trade.

We were really pleased to have been given one of them – it’s a hallmark of British quality and we are one of the first four winners. Congratulations to all the other winners.
