An outdoor
bathing experience

For hundreds of years, people have been bathing in seaweed for its nurturing, restorative and healing properties. In warm water, seaweed releases its mineral-dense oils, offering rich relaxation, soothing tired muscles and encouraging escape from the everyday.

This year, using the pure water generated as a by-product of our sea salt harvesting process, we are the first company in Wales to offer a bespoke outdoor bathing experience, celebrating the unparalleled
view in this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Don your swimming costume and soak in the power of seaweed in your own private upcycled whiskey barrel.

The seaweed we use is incredibly sustainable – it doesn’t require soil, fertiliser, or fresh water to grow, and when harvested at the right time it encourages even more regrowth.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Our recycled barrels are wonderfully warm, but they are outside to make the most of the elements and our outstanding panoramic view. Please be aware that your dip will go ahead come rain or shine. Every weather brings something different to the experience.

Our bathing area is situated in its own private cove of wicker fencing,
looking directly out to sea. We offer simple changing rooms and somewhere to leave your things very close by.

We use the distilled water from our salt-making process for our baths – ie it is fresh water. (All the salt has been harvested for you to take home to season your dinner.)

To maximise the healing effects of the seaweed, we strongly suggest leaving the oil on your skin post-bath, where it will be readily absorbed. To this effect, there are no showers on site.
