Eat it straight from the jar or warm it gently to turn into an exquisitely drizzly sauce. Winner of two gold stars in the Great Taste Awards.
Gavin and Stacey, Morecambe and Wise, salt and caramel - some things are just meant to be together.
Easily adds flavour to:
- Vanilla ice cream
- Squidgy toasted crumpets
- Sticky apple cake
- Rich hot chocolate
The more adventurous among us should try:
- Coring a few apples and filling with salted caramel sauce. Add a splash of whisky to the dish before covering with foil and baking in the oven until the sauce is molten and the apples are soft
- Spreading a thin layer over the base of a sweet shortcrust pastry case before filling with chocolate ganache and setting in the fridge. Finish with flaked salt before slicing into thin wedges
- Mixing with Greek yoghurt before freezing into iced lolly moulds
- Tossing chopped parsnips with salted caramel sauce and orange for a sticky and indulgent winter side dish

I *almost* wish I’d never tasted this before as I have approximately 0 self-control around it. I have it on porridge and have even had on toast

OMG. This sauce is so delicious, just want to eat the whole jar straight off. I’m diabetic so must be very strict with myself but hey, a little of what you fancy!!!!!

So good – I almost wish I hadn’t discovered it, because now I’m addicted to eating it right out of the jar… ! Heaven.

Come on now, this sauce is ridiculously good. I warm it up to pour over ice cream and cake. It’s dangerous.

I have recently bought a jar of Salted caramel spread whilst on holiday in Anglesey, and tried in on scones with clotted cream OMG it was sooooo YUMMY! I will certainly be buying some more!!

I do thank God for the day when a chef in Britany put salt instead of extra sugar in what he was cooking and salted caramel was born. Have tried many versions of it but this is truly outstanding and had to restrain myself when first tasting it from the bottle with a teaspoon, not to snaffle it down in one go as it so delicious and moreish. I look forward to seeing what I can pair it with, or just leaving a bottle in the fridge to dip into, when I need a sweet treat, yummy !

This sauce is so amazing I selfishly arranged a family day out and drove a 128 mile round trip just so I could buy 3 more jars of it! I’m about to run out again so am already plotting an excuse for another 128 mile round trip. The sauce is divine on homemade pancakes, and is without doubt the best Salted Caramel product I have ever tasted (and I have tasted a large amount).
