Congratulations to the new Prince and Princess of Wales

Back in 2019, we were delighted to host a visit from the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, now the Prince and Princess of Wales. 

 

The pair returned to their previous home in North Wales to meet individuals and organisations in the region who are encouraging people to look after their communities and protect the natural environment. Ynys Môn is what the BBC termed a ‘refuge’ for the couple.

Whilst at Halen Môn, the pair learnt the special techniques that make the product sought after around the world, from Heston Blumenthal in London to Dan Barber in New York City. 

They also met our co-founders, Alison and David Lea-Wilson, and had a guided sea salt tasting from our Visitor Centre Manager Rob Jardine.
