For hundreds of years, people have been bathing in seaweed for its nurturing, restorative and healing properties. In warm water, seaweed releases its mineral-dense oils, offering rich relaxation and soothing tired muscles.

The benefits of bathing in seaweed have been well-known for centuries and we’re firm believers in them here at Halen Môn. The mineral-dense oils are incredibly moisturising, making it brilliant for anti-ageing and especially for dry skin. The experience is totally natural, the ingredients being 100% seaweed and warm water – and it’s brilliant for relaxing sore muscles. A traditional, restorative ritual that will, quite simply, make you feel wonderful.

Good for your skin?

When activated in warm water, seaweed releases its mineral-dense oils, so rich and moisturising it has a texture similar to olive oil.

The warm water opens up your pores and blood vessels, allowing the skin to be more receptive to the minerals and vitamins that have been released into the water.

Traditionally seaweed baths have been thought to help a series of skin conditions, with vitamins A-K leaving your skin baby-soft, and giving you a natural glow. It has also been shown to help with muscle aches and joint stiffness.

Good for the mind?

A seaweed bath is a multi-sensory experience. Breathe in the heady scent of the sea,  take a moment to listen to your surroundings, feel the sea air on your face, and let the warm water hold you.

Taking an undistracted moment to yourself is  an important part of slowing down and relaxing. Seaweed bathing take this to the next level.

The warm water increases blood circulation and cell oxygenation, making you feel wonderful.
