We’ve had some brilliant visitors at Halen Môn over the years, from The Hairy Bikers to Green & Blacks, Dave Coaches to Ade Edmonson. Perhaps the most exciting one so far though, is none other than national treasure, Sir Terry Wogan.
With his sharp sense of dress and even sharper wit, he really is the absolute gentleman everyone believes him to be. Considering his Radio 2 show made him the most listened-to radio broadcaster in Europe for so many years, we found him to be modest and kind, and it was genuinely an honour to show him round the Saltcote for his new programme Terry & Mason’s Great Food Trip, which will feature us on Tuesday 15th September.
We even managed to ask him our foodie questions before he hopped back in Mason’s taxi to continue the rest of the tour…
