Saltcote_2 Print_Logo_COE2016_en_UK*** Due to the Corona Virus crisis we are not currently open to the public unless by prior arrangement to collect orders.  We are currently still despatching orders with extra precautions in place. Wishing everyone the very best throughout this incredibly difficult time***

Our award-winning Saltcote and Visitor Centre is a unique building on the banks of the of Menai Strait in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, next door to Anglesey Sea Zoo in Brynsiencyn.

We are proud to be one of Wales’ most innovative food businesses, and offer a one-of-a-kind Behind the Scenes tour for anyone interested in salt’s place in our history, culture and in what makes Halen Môn Sea Salt PDO the world’s finest seasoning.

Led by a trained guide (read more about them here) the tour lasts approx 50 minutes and finishes with a tutored salt tasting. Read our Tripadvisor page for the latest reviews.

As well as being where we make our sea salt, our Saltcote is home to a contemporary, design-led gift shop. As of spring 2019, we also have an outdoor café, Tide/ Llanw, which celebrates local, seasonal ingredients and does some seriously good coffee.
